Tony Khan says he has had a “few great conversations” with Skydance CEO David Ellison about AEW.
Khan spoke at the AEW WrestleDream media scrum on October 17 in Orlando. AEW’s media partner, Warner Bros. Discovery, merged with Paramount Skydance on October 6, and the combined company is now called Skydance.
Khan said he has been looking forward to working for Skydance and called the deal a good thing for AEW. He said he believes Warner Bros. will be stronger under the Ellisons and that David Ellison will be a great leader and partner for AEW.
Khan was also asked about free agent Kairi Sane. He said he could not speak to it at this time, but that he likes that she is a free agent and is intrigued by the prospect.
Asked about Toni Storm, Khan said he did not know when or where she would return, but that she would eventually come back to seek revenge on whoever attacked her.
