Hangman Page made his first AEW Dynamite appearance in 140 days on Wednesday, following through on Tony Khan’s comment last week that his return was imminent. Page had already made a short-notice Collision appearance on July 11.
Page appeared in the opening segment and offered to help Will Ospreay in his AEW World Title bid against Kenny Omega at All In, having been through the same situation last year. Ospreay declined, saying he had enough to deal with and could not trust Page due to his friendship with Omega.
Page returned later in the show to help The Conglomeration and Brody King after they were beaten down by new AEW Trios Champions The Demand and The Lethal Twist, hitting Jay Lethal with a Buckshot Lariat.
During his Collision appearance, Page said he would honor the stipulation from his Texas Death Match loss to then-champion MJF at Revolution in March, meaning he cannot challenge for the World Title again. He said he would instead focus on AEW’s other singles titles.
