Malakai Black’s tenure with AEW has concluded.
According to Fightful Select, individuals within AEW have suggested that Black is either in the process of concluding his time with the promotion or has already done so. Fightful today stated that Black is not anticipated to return to AEW.
AEW CEO Tony Khan had previously indicated that Black was under contract until 2027.
Black is scheduled to compete at Coastal Championship Wrestling’s Havoc & Haze 9 in Tampa on Saturday, January 11, 2025, where he will face Irion.
