The tribute ceremony for Taz’s induction into the 2300 Arena Hardcore Hall of Fame is being moved. During the ROH Death Before Dishonor media scrum on Friday, AEW President Tony Khan announced that the ceremony, which was originally scheduled for this Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, will now take place on this coming Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite instead. Khan explained that Taz had requested the change so that more of his family members would be able to attend the special moment.
Khan announced the surprise induction after the Dynamite taping this past Wednesday in the iconic Philadelphia venue, formerly known as the ECW Arena, where Taz became a legend.
Also at Death Before Dishonor, a new match was announced for Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, which will also take place from the 2300 Arena. Following a series of confrontations in recent weeks, Juice Robinson and Big Bill will go one-on-one in a singles match. The feud between the two has been building since Robinson and his Bang Bang Gang stablemates eliminated Big Bill and his partner Bryan Keith from the recent AEW World Tag Team Championship eliminator tournament. The match adds another layer to what is expected to be an action-packed show in Philadelphia.
