A new stipulation has been added to a major women’s division match for this Wednesday’s “September to Remember” episode of AEW Dynamite. In a social media post on Monday night, AEW President Tony Khan announced that the scheduled match between Thekla and Queen Aminata will now be a No Holds Barred match. This change reflects the intense and violent animosity that has been building between the two competitors over the past several weeks. Their feud has seen them brawl all over the arena at multiple events, including the Forbidden Door and Death Before Dishonor pay-per-views, making a no-rules stipulation a fitting way to potentially settle their score.
The match is part of a loaded card for the September 17th event, which is the final episode of Dynamite before the All Out pay-per-view in Toronto. The show, which takes place from the historic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, will also feature the third and final qualifying match for the AEW Unified Championship three-way at All Out, as The Beast Mortos takes on Máscara Dorada. Additionally, three separate qualifying matches will be held to determine the participants in the four-way AEW World Tag Team Championship Ladder Match at the pay-per-view. The event is set to be a crucial stop on the road to one of AEW’s biggest shows of the year.
The updated card for AEW September to Remember on Wednesday, September 17 is below:
- All Out Tag Team Championship Match Qualifier: The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. Gunn Club (Juice Robinson & Austin Gunn)
- All Out Tag Team Championship Match Qualifier: Luchasaurus & Kip Sabian vs. JetSpeed (“Speedball” Mike Bailey & Kevin Knight)
