Three new matches have been officially announced for the upcoming September 27 episode of AEW Collision. The show is set to feature a major championship defense, as the reigning TNT Champion, Kyle Fletcher, will put his championship on the line in an open challenge against the high-flying luchador Komander. This will be Komander’s first match in AEW since a trios bout on Dynamite in June, as he has been sidelined with a knee injury. His return to action and an immediate championship opportunity make this a highly anticipated contest.
Also on the card, the duo formerly known as The Acclaimed, Anthony Bowens and Max Caster, will put their storyline differences aside to team up against the team of Lee Johnson and Blake Christian. This will be a significant reunion for the former AEW World Tag Team Champions, who have been embroiled in a bitter feud since their split earlier this year. In another major tag team match, Eddie Kingston and HOOK will team up to face Big Bill and Bryan Keith. This match stems from Kingston’s return at All Out, where HOOK made the save for him after a post-match attack from Keith. The feud has been building since then, and this tag team encounter will be the latest chapter in their rivalry.
The full lineup for AEW Collision on Saturday, September 27, is below:
- TNT Championship Match: Kyle Fletcher (champion) vs. Komander
- Max Caster and Anthony Bowens vs. Lee Johnson and Blake Christian
