AEW Star Injured?

AEW

AEW & Ring of Honor wrestler Queen Aminata revealed a possible knee injury in her latest vlog. During a segment of the vlog filmed last Wednesday in Jacksonville, Florida, while Collision was being taped, Aminata mentioned that she “hurt my knee a little” while rolling around in the ring. She was visibly limping as she filmed and noted she was going to do a pre-tape segment, although it did not air.

Later, while heading to the airport at 4 AM Eastern, she stated, “I’m so tired. My knee is so friggin’ sore.” Upon returning home, she again reported feeling tired and added, “my knee is super sore and swollen.”

The vlog did not show any footage of how the injury occurred, nor were any other specific details provided. Aminata was not seen wearing a brace in the video. The 29-year-old wrestler has not competed since the Tailgate Brawl show before AEW All Out on September 20. As of this writing, she has not been announced for her next match, leaving her status for upcoming AEW and ROH events uncertain as she potentially faces a period of recovery.
