All Elite Wrestling has announced its first-ever million-dollar match, which will take place at the upcoming Full Gear pay-per-view. The high-stakes trios match was announced on the November 1 “Fright Night” edition of AEW Collision by Don Callis, who presented the “lucrative offer” to The Young Bucks.
The match will see The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) team up with Josh Alexander to face the trio of Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express (Jack Perry & Luchasaurus). The winning team will walk away with a $1 million cash prize.
This announcement is a massive development in the ongoing storyline surrounding The Young Bucks, who have been on a financial and personal losing streak since losing their EVP status at All In. The brothers have been desperately trying to earn their money back, a mission that was dealt a major blow at WrestleDream when they lost a $500,000 match to the newly reunited Jurassic Express. This new match gives them a chance to not only win back their losses but also double their potential earnings.
The updated card for AEW Full Gear, which takes place on Saturday, November 22, is below:
- AEW World Championship: “Hangman” Adam Page (c) vs. Samoa Joe
- AEW Women’s World Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Mercedes Moné
- AEW World Tag Team Championship: Brodido (c) vs. FTR
- $1 Million Trios Match: Kenny Omega & Jurassic Express vs. The Young Bucks & Josh Alexander
- Big Boom AJ & QT Marshall vs. RPG Vice
