Report: Mike Santana’s TNA Absence Is A “Total Work”

Reports that Mike Santana was missing from TNA’s Turning Point event and was not answering company calls are part of an elaborate storyline.

Pwinsider, which first noted the situation, has now confirmed the entire scenario is a “total work”. The story was that Santana had disappeared after losing his TNA World Title to Frankie Kazarian, who cashed in his Call Your Shot trophy following an attack by NXT talent.

It has since been confirmed that a TNA official attempted to “feed the fake information to multiple websites” to generate buzz for upcoming shows. Santana was, in fact, backstage at Full Sail University for Turning Point and is still scheduled to compete in his advertised tag team match with Steve Maclin against Nic Nemeth and Kazarian.
