Backstage Details On The Finale Of “Hey! (EW)”

AEW

The popular web series Hey! (EW) has ended, but its host isn’t going anywhere.

According to Fightful Select, AEW had planned the conclusion of the RJ City-hosted YouTube show well in advance. The decision to wrap up the series was reportedly made by WrestleDream 2025, with segments filmed specifically to build toward the finale on December 7. City also chose to end his personal project, RJ City Makes Coffee In His Underwear, to execute a “clean sweep” of his content.

Despite the show ending, RJ City remains an integral part of AEW. He will continue to host Zero Hour pre-shows and is heavily involved in the creative process, having previously been credited for his work on Toni Storm’s character. The report indicates there is potential for new content involving City in the future.
