Don’t expect to see “Switchblade” Jay White back in the ring anytime soon.
According to Fightful Select, the former IWGP World Champion is still not medically cleared to compete. White has been out of action since March 2025 with a broken hand and shoulder issues that required surgery. The report notes that he “isn’t expected to be back imminently” and hasn’t been factored into creative plans.
While White made a cameo at Wrestle Kingdom 20 to honor Hiroshi Tanahashi, his physical return to AEW remains indefinite. In his absence, Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn continue to hold down the fort for Bullet Club Gold.
