All Elite Wrestling is continuing to stack the deck for its upcoming broadcast. With Dynamite less than 48 hours away, a nearly complete match card is already being advertised, featuring intense championship bouts and deeply rooted cross-promotional grudge matches.
Factions Collide in High-Stakes Tag Team Action
The latest addition to the television lineup was officially confirmed by AEW CEO Tony Khan on social media. The unique fan-favorite duo of Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy will team up to face the dangerous combination of Clark Connors and Gabe Kidd, who are now operating as a tag team known as “The Dogs.” This match is the culmination of months of interconnected rivalries that have spanned across multiple promotions and factions.
The animosity between the four men stems from Kidd’s previous association with the Death Riders faction while they were actively feuding with Allin. That specific program appeared to reach its conclusion when Allin defeated Kidd at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view last December. However, the conflict was reignited in January when Clark Connors returned to AEW programming. Connors aligned with Kidd, his long-time stablemate from the Unbound Co. faction in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, to form a united front.
Orange Cassidy, who has his own history as a fierce enemy of the Death Riders, was subsequently drawn into the escalating war. Cassidy previously teamed with NJPW veteran Tomohiro Ishii to defeat The Dogs on the February 18 episode of Collision, ensuring that Connors and Kidd will be looking for violent retribution on Dynamite. This tag team encounter joins an already loaded card that features MJF defending the AEW World Heavyweight Championship against Kevin Knight, Thekla defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against Thunder Rosa, and a massive singles clash between Jon Moxley and the technical wizard Hechicero.
