Ric Flair posted a pair of public warnings on X on Thursday threatening legal action over what he called unauthorized use of his “Flair” trademark, directing his comments at someone he described as someone he knows personally.
“Unfortunately, There Is Someone That I’m Very Familiar With Using My Own Trademark FLAIR,” Flair wrote. “I Would Like Anyone Who Is Using My Trademarks… To Know That I’m Well Represented By A Reputable $1000 Per Hour Attorney That Makes A Living Suing People That Abuse My Trademark. You Know Who I’m Talking About. I Hope You Can Clear This Up By Monday, And If We Can’t Resolve This Issue, Read The Penalties.”
In a second post, Flair addressed the estrangement directly, writing “The Relationship Was Gone 9 Years Ago… I’m Sorry & Sad That It Has Come To This. I’ve Tried My Best To Fix Things Over The Years Only To Be Rejected Because Your Wife Runs Your Life.”
The posts appear to be directed at his son David Flair (David Fliehr), who is listed as a registered agent of Green Flair Recycling, LLC, a recycling company in North Carolina. Flair shared an image of the company’s Instagram in one of his posts.
