On the latest episode of 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff reacted to Dwayne Johnson telling Rolling Stone he’s exploring traditional country music. You can check out his comments below:
On the news:
“I think it’s great. I think it’s great. Who knows?”
On why he wouldn’t bet against him:
“You ever watch The Voice? You see people all the time. You see them walking out and you go, that person couldn’t sing a song, come on. And they belt out something that brings tears to your eyes and your skin turns shades of gold. I mean, come on. Who knows? Maybe the man can sing better than he can wrestle. Who knows? Or maybe it’ll just be fun to watch. Somewhere in between, I don’t know. I think it’s great that he’s going to give it a shot.”
On what it represents:
“That’s freedom. That is the ultimate. I don’t like the term ‘F-you money,’ and I’m not suggesting that Rocky is that way at all — in fact, I kind of think he’s the opposite. But when you’re at the point in life when you go, you know what, I know everybody in this state knows who I am, and I can’t go to the store without people recognising me, but I’m going to do this just because I want to. That’s freedom. So good for you.”
