At least three NFL teams have asked about promotional partnerships with Danhausen this season, including in-stadium appearances, according to Fightful Select.
The interest follows Danhausen’s run of social media attention around the NBA Playoffs. A WWE source told the outlet that the response to his New York Knicks merchandise was unlike anything the company has seen from a talent generating crossover interest with professional sports organisations, particularly in the NFL.
The report added that Fanatics is expected to run a Danhausen NFL crossover line later this season.
