Maya World is expected to be sidelined for a brief period after undergoing a procedure within the past week, according to Fightful Select.
The outlet reports the exact nature of the procedure has not been disclosed, though there is reported optimism that the former AEW TBS Champion will return to the ring in the near future. World has already withdrawn from several scheduled appearances and was not in attendance for the September 17 episode of AEW Dynamite. No timetable has been confirmed for her return.
