Jeff Jarrett said the two questions he gets asked most often about his TNA run involve Raven and Monty Brown, and that his answer has not changed.

“If I do panels or whatever it is, there’s two sets of circumstances that I hear about all the time, and that is Raven and Monty Brown. Why didn’t you drop the title to Raven? Why didn’t you drop it to Monty Brown?” Jarrett said on My World with Jeff Jarrett.

He said he understands why the questions keep coming, and that he would make the same calls again.

“The fact of the matter is, in a lot of ways, it saved me talking about it all these years later. But I would still make the same decision,” Jarrett said. “Raven could have beat me, and then I could have circled back, and Raven maybe drops it to Truth or drops it to AJ or whoever it may be, and circle back. And the same thing with Monty. I always thought stay the course, build to the big ones, and later I dropped them to whoever during those timeframes.”

Jarrett said the call was subjective either way.

“A subjective decision, but the narrative could be spun out of it, especially this day and age,” he said.
