Ilja Dragunov is set to join AEW, according to multiple reports.
Fightful Select reports it was further confirmed this week that Dragunov is joining the company, with internal materials and graphics already being prepared for him while his visa situation is sorted out. Dragunov became a free agent after his WWE contract expired.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter also reported that Dragunov has signed and should be starting very soon, noting it was apparent in August from the way Tony Khan was discussing him, and that deals like this often take weeks to finalize.
