Nyla Rose does not believe Tony Khan is responsible for her lengthy absence from AEW television.
Asked about the situation on the Krazy Train Podcast, the former AEW Women’s World Champion said, “No. I genuinely don’t think it’s him. I genuinely, genuinely don’t think it’s him.”
Rose said there are things she either cannot discuss or can only speculate about, but that her read on Khan comes from their working relationship, saying, “In my heart of hearts, just the relationship that we have and, like, the conversations that we have, I don’t think it’s him.”
She added that Khan is direct with talent rather than telling them what they want to hear, saying, “He’s not really one to, like, tell you what you want to hear, you know? He’ll, if it’s what doesn’t need to be or what can’t be, he’ll tell you.”
Rose has been with AEW since 2019 and remains on the active roster. Her last match for the company was a 2024 dark match against Jordan Blade.
