Several veterans in AEW have pushed for the company to sign Sheamus, according to Fightful Select.
Sheamus became a free agent when his WWE contract expired at the start of October. He has not signed with AEW, and there have been no substantial negotiations between the two sides, per the report.
AEW has preferred not to speak with wrestlers about deals until they are officially free to sign.
Fightful Select also noted interest in Sheamus from TNA and other promotions.
