Roman Reigns says he wants to keep growing as a performer outside of wrestling.
Speaking with Extra at the premiere of the Street Fighter movie, in which he plays Akuma, Reigns said he would welcome more work in other areas of entertainment.
“I would love to. I’m a husband and father first. That’s always going to be my priority,” Reigns said.
He credited WWE for supporting him earlier in his life.
“WWE has been great to me. When I really needed a team to pick me up, they were the team that picked me up when I was down when I was a lot younger. But you can’t fall down your whole life.”
“Wrestling is a rough way of earning a living, and I want to continue to explore these performing arts, these tools that I’ve sharpened and learned over the years. And if I can contribute and collaborate and then be a part of the creative process, I’d love to.”
Reigns is the World Heavyweight Champion.
