Becky Lynch says WWE mixes reality into its storylines to the point where fans cannot always tell what is real.
Lynch made the comments on So U Think U Can Sports? with Eliot Glazer when asked whether WWE is scripted.
“Because it is. Because there’s stories, there’s storylines that go behind it. But the beautiful part about wrestling is we interweave reality and scripted to the point where you kind of don’t know what’s real and what’s scripted,” Lynch said.
“There’s competition. There’s genuine competition. So there’s real animosity, and then there’s, you know, when you’re in a high-level atmosphere like that, you’re going to get two people that maybe don’t like each other.”
“And so some of that’s going to weave in. And that kind of is when it’s the most interesting. You want to see conflict. You want to see fighting.”
