Drew McIntyre’s week has been marked by controversy from the Royal Rumble. He reportedly expressed displeasure with a wrestler who prioritized their moves over the match’s storytelling. That turned out to be LA Knight.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, McIntyre is moving to SmackDown and will feud with Damian Priest.
Meltzer also noted, “There is also a plan right now to get to Rhodes vs. McIntyre, which was scheduled for 2023 before Rhodes ended up not winning the title that year.”
