The following is a list of news, notes, and rumors from the pro wrestling world:
Wrestling Rumors
Fightful Select reports that WWE continues to heavily script promos under Triple H’s leadership, despite perceptions of increased creative freedom. While some performers receive minor flexibility, even seemingly spontaneous promos are largely pre-written. Meanwhile, PWN indicates that Tonga Loa is slated for a WWE television return in June.
Regarding potential storylines, Fightful notes that the teased main roster program between Bayley and Roxanne Perez has seen no further development. Additionally, Giulia’s recent presence at the WWE Performance Center has been marked by her absence from training classes, sparking speculation about a possible injury, though this remains unconfirmed.
In other wrestling news, PW Insider reveals that Mistico is injured but will still appear at MLW’s Battle Riot special. If his injury prevents him from competing, MLW has a contingency plan in place. Furthermore, the promotion plans to introduce a new color commentator during the event.
