Wrestling legend Ric Flair, 76, has disclosed that he is dealing with skin cancer for the second time in the last three years. Speaking with PEOPLE magazine, Flair confirmed the diagnosis and stated that he “will proceed with treatment next week.”
This confirmation comes after Flair’s son-in-law, Conrad Thompson, mentioned last month that Flair had recently had a procedure for skin cancer. That led to Flair initially denying having cancer of any kind, a move likely to keep the matter private before he was ready to share it publicly.
Flair is still affiliated with AEW and recently appeared on an episode of Collision last month in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, during a tribute segment for the late Steve “Mongo” McMichael. This is another significant health challenge for the iconic “Nature Boy,” who survived a near-fatal health crisis in 2017 involving kidney and heart failure.
