Deonna Purrazzo expressed frustration regarding The Vendetta faction in AEW, stating to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp that it hasn’t met her expectations. “The Vendetta, in my mind, was much more dominant… much more mysterious and devious,” Purrazzo explained, adding that she and Taya Valkyrie “were not able to get the job done on numerous occasions.”

As a multi-time World Champion, Purrazzo desires to be in the title picture and stated she needed to “go home. I needed to reassess, reevaluate, pick a perfect opportunity.” She revealed the initial plan for The Vendetta was for a potential third member once their characters developed, but “what the plans were in the beginning is not what unfolded.”

Despite the current situation, Purrazzo believes The Vendetta is “not over.” She emphasized, “I love that me and Taya as a group, I love the idea of it so much. I would love to see it come to fruition.”
