AEW Star’s Contract Is Expiring

The future of Danhausen in AEW and ROH is reportedly in doubt, as his contract with the company is set to expire next month.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Danhausen’s deal is up in July unless the company decides to add time due to his previous injury. He made a surprise return from a torn pectoral muscle at the ROH Final Battle event in December 2024 but has not been used on television since.

The report notes that while Danhausen was welcomed back warmly and was under the impression he would be factored into creative plans, that has not been the case. When he reached out to the company multiple times following the event, he was told there were no plans to bring him to TV that particular week, and no plans have materialized in the months since.
