It’s official: AEW has a new power couple. TMZ has confirmed that the reigning AEW TBS Champion, Mercedes Moné, is in a relationship with fellow AEW star The Beast Mortos.
Relationship rumors began to fly recently after Mortos posted an intimate photo of the two together in Mexico on his Instagram Stories. Now, TMZ reports they have confirmed with Moné directly that the two are, in fact, dating, describing it as “a real beauty and the beast situation.”
There is currently no word on how long the two have been involved. The news comes nearly a year after Moné finalized her divorce from her ex-husband, Sarath Ton, after many years of separation.
Both Moné and Mortos are featured performers on AEW programming. Moné is the current TBS Champion, while Mortos is a member of the House of Black faction.
