TNA Impact To Air “Fade To Black” Bound For Glory Special Tonight

TNA Wrestling will continue its look back at the historic Bound For Glory pay-per-view with a special episode of TNA Impact tonight, October 23, 2025. The broadcast, titled “Fade To Black,” will serve as the second consecutive special episode dedicated to the aftermath of TNA’s biggest event of the year, offering fans an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the monumental night. The show will follow the stars of TNA Wrestling as they prepared for their matches at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, providing a unique perspective on the emotions and preparations that went into the event.

The Bound For Glory pay-per-view on October 12 was one of the most newsworthy shows in TNA’s recent history, and tonight’s “Fade To Black” special will feature an encore presentation of its dramatic main event. That match saw “The Boricua Brawler” Mike Santana challenge Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship. Williams, who is also an NXT superstar, had held the TNA World Championship since winning it at the NXT Battleground event in May, but his 140-day reign came to a stunning end at the hands of Santana. The match was a brutal, hard-fought affair that saw Santana capture the company’s top prize for the first time in his career, achieving a career-defining moment.

Tonight’s special will not only replay that main event but also give fans an inside look at the chaos that followed. After Santana’s victory, his celebration was cut short when Nic Nemeth, who had co-won the Call Your Shot gauntlet match earlier in the evening, came to the ring to tease a cash-in. Before he could make it official, the lights went out, and Elias made his shocking TNA debut, attacking Nemeth from behind. The show also featured the emotional and historic “One Final Table” match, where The Hardy Boyz retained their unified TNA and NXT World Tag Team Championships against Team 3D (The Dudley Boyz), who subsequently left their boots in the ring, signaling their retirement as a team.

Tonight’s special allows the roster to recover before the company heads into its next set of major events. TNA is now on the road to Turning Point, its next TNA+ special, which is scheduled for Friday, November 13, at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. Following the controversial and chaotic NXT vs. TNA Showdown event and the historic title defenses at Bound For Glory, the landscape in TNA has completely changed. The new TNA World Champion, Mike Santana, must now look over his shoulder, not only for the co-winners of the Call Your Shot gauntlet, Nic Nemeth and Frankie Kazarian, but also for the returning Elias. Meanwhile, The Hardy Boyz continue their reign as the unified TNA and NXT World Tag Team Champions, solidifying their status as the most decorated tag team of all time.
