WWE veteran Candice LeRae has reportedly been training for a new backstage role as a match producer. According to a new report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, LeRae has been actively learning the production side of the business and has already been producing matches for the company’s Main Event program. This move suggests “The Poison Pixie” may be planning for a future in the company beyond her in-ring career.
LeRae, who is married to fellow WWE star Johnny Gargano, has not been a regular on weekly television for some time, though she has remained active on NXT house shows. Her last televised match was on the September 23, 2025, episode of WWE NXT, where she competed in the final of the Women’s Speed Championship number one contender’s tournament. Her most recent in-ring appearance was at an NXT live event in Cleveland, Ohio, where she faced Evolve Women’s Champion Kendal Grey.
It is not yet known if LeRae plans to transition into a full-time, permanent backstage role or if she will eventually return to weekly programming as an active competitor.
