Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select believes WWE would be “wise” to sign popular AEW star Danhausen, should his contract come to an end. Danhausen has been notably absent from all AEW and ROH programming since ROH Final Battle 2024 and has been active on the independent scene, recently challenging for the GCW World Title.
During the latest Fightful Weekly Q&A Podcast, Sapp was asked if he could see WWE signing the “Very Nice, Very Evil” star.
“He noted that they should, reasoning that WWE will not have R-Truth forever for the comedy wrestler role. He also noted that WWE’s marketing teams could make big money on Danhausen. It was finally noted that he would make a great tag team with Mr. Iguana”
