WWE Intentionally Keeping Santos Escobar Off TV

Despite re-signing with WWE in October 2025 for a “substantially” higher salary, Santos Escobar has been absent from television. According to a report from Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, this absence is intentional. WWE is reportedly keeping him off TV until they have a concrete creative plan in place that warrants his return.

Alvarez noted that Escobar requested a meeting with Triple H to discuss his creative future before re-signing. The report suggests that fans can expect big things for the star upon his return.

“They’re not gonna’ sign this guy to this kind of money and not push him… with the money he’s making, he could sit at home for a while.”
