Nikki Bella’s time in the ring may be winding down, but her time on camera is not.
Following her loss to Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer at Survivor Series, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE is considering transitioning Bella into a manager role. The idea would see her use her newly established heel persona to act as a mouthpiece for an up-and-coming talent.
The report states that Bella is “not going anywhere” and that her recent character work on RAW has been well-received backstage. While no specific client has been selected for her to manage, the move would allow her to remain a featured part of the show without carrying a full-time wrestling schedule.
Bella last competed at Survivor Series, where she unsuccessfully challenged for the Women’s World Title in a match that followed John Cena’s emotional defeat.
