Dakota Kai is officially heading back to the ring.
After being released by WWE in May 2025 and waiting out her 90-day non-compete clause, the former Damage CTRL member has booked her return match. AEW star Will Ospreay announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Kai—now going by the name Charlie—will challenge Kris Statlander for the EVE International Championship.
The match is scheduled for March 8, 2026, at EVE Wrestle Queendom in London.
“I miss wrestling you guys. We’re gonna get back into it. It’s just one of those things where it’s been nice to have a little bit of a break,” Kai said during a Twitch stream in September.
This will mark Kai’s first match since her WWE release, ending a nearly 10-month hiatus from in-ring competition.
