WWE NXT kicks off 2026 with its annual New Year’s Evil special tonight on The CW.
The card is headlined by a massive champion vs. champion crossover match. NXT Champion Oba Femi will defend his territory against TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater. Slater has been a frequent presence on NXT television recently, and this match represents one of the biggest inter-promotional bouts in the brand’s history.
Also on the card, Thea Hail defends the Women’s North American Championship against Blake Monroe. As noted earlier, this could be Monroe’s final night in NXT if main roster rumors hold true.
