Bodycam Footage Released from Vince McMahon’s July 2025 Connecticut Car Crash

WWE

New details and visual evidence have emerged regarding a severe motor vehicle accident involving former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. On Thursday, July 24, 2025, McMahon was involved in a multi-car collision on Route 15 in Westport, Connecticut. Recently, bodycam footage from the responding Connecticut State Trooper was released to the public by the US Sun and the Connecticut State Police, shedding light on the immediate aftermath of the crash.

“I Haven’t Driven This Car in Quite Some Time”

The footage shows the 80-year-old McMahon sitting in the driver’s seat of his $300,000 Bentley Continental GT Speed, with the vehicle’s airbags fully deployed. During the interaction, the state trooper confronted McMahon about his excessive speed leading up to the accident. “I’m trying to catch up to you, and you keep taking off. You almost hit, I think, 115 miles an hour,” the trooper is heard saying.

McMahon, who had rear-ended a BMW driven by Barbara Doran before slamming into a guardrail and scattering debris across the highway, denied intentionally trying to outrun law enforcement. “I’m trying to drive. I haven’t been driving my car in God knows how long. God d**n it. Stupid f****ng fool,” McMahon stated as he handed over his insurance documentation. He explained that he was on his way to visit his granddaughter for her birthday and admitted that the high-performance supercar was “too fast” for him to handle after a long period of not driving.

Following the crash, McMahon refused medical attention and checked on the other driver to apologize. He was subsequently charged with reckless driving and following too closely. In October 2025, McMahon appeared in court, where a judge ordered him to donate $1,000 to charity and adhere to lawful driving practices. The judge also ruled that if McMahon successfully completed a pretrial program and maintained proper licensing and insurance, the charges against him could eventually be dropped.
