The highly anticipated bout will serve as the marquee main event for Game Changer Wrestling’s (GCW) annual spectacle, Joey Janela’s Spring Break X, scheduled for Friday, April 17. The match was set up following a heated confrontation at the recent GCW Baller Blockin event. Brodie Jr., who secured his first official in-ring victory by winning the chaotic 2025 Clusterfuck match, boldly issued a direct challenge to the “Bad Boy.”
Janela initially dismissed the challenge, insulting the teenager by claiming he was entirely too young to step into the ring for a singles contest against a seasoned veteran. Brodie Jr. fired back with a deeply personal insult, telling Janela to stop acting like Megan Bayne’s “bitch.” The comment infuriated Janela, who responded by slapping the young competitor across the face before executing a devastating piledriver in the center of the ring.
