The “Bella Army” is preparing for a major resurgence on the Road to WrestleMania. Following their high-profile reunion at the 2026 Royal Rumble, new reports indicate that WWE Hall of Famers Nikki and Brie Bella are expected to return to television “very soon” to officially kick off their storylines for the biggest event of the year.
Targeting the Women’s Tag Team Division in Las Vegas
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the duo is being integrated back into the creative mix to facilitate their recently announced involvement in WrestleMania 42. During a recent appearance on Access Hollywood, the twins confirmed they will be active participants in the Las Vegas extravaganza, which emanates from Allegiant Stadium on April 18 and 19. “The Bellas are going to be in it, so you have to come,” Nikki stated during the interview.
While their specific match has not yet been finalized by management, the twins have expressed interest in competing against the top pairings in the company. Potential opponents being discussed include the newly crowned champions The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend), the veteran duo of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, or the established Kabuki Warriors.
The return of the Bella Twins marks a significant shift in the division. WWE had previously been hesitant to feature Brie Bella prominently due to her husband Bryan Danielson’s long-standing employment with All Elite Wrestling. However, her surprise entry as the 29th participant in the Women’s Royal Rumble signaled a new era of cooperation. The twins have reportedly been training intensely—utilizing Olympic lifting and boxing—to ensure they are physically prepared for a full-time run in the current, faster-paced landscape of the WWE women’s roster.
