WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella is openly campaigning for a heel turn, saying it’s the role where she does her best work. Speaking on her Nikki & Brie show, the injured star explained her pitch.
“Look, I’d love to be heel Nikki. I thrive being heel Nikki. I don’t write Creative. Heel Nikki is the best. I pitch for it; hopefully, that is what I can be. Hopefully, that is what I end with. I miss the days of Team Bella just doing crazy stuff. Dumping milkshakes on Brie’s head, spray painting Paige, just doing all that kind of stuff, I loved that kind of heel work. Cutting ruthless promos, where my opponent and I knew we could get a little personal, and no feelings were hurt. We’ll see. I pitch hard for that, we’ll see what will happen because I just thrive in that. I love that. For a babyface to go against me, it’s very easy to come after me. There’s so much promo work you can do on me and get a reaction and be a superhero for it. So, I think it works. I think it works the best.”
Bella also revealed she’d like to step into a General Manager role one day.
“What I love about this one, I can do this, not being in the ring. There was a lot of talk about it on X, like, should they change the general managers? I would love to be a general manager at one point. After in-ring stuff, I’d love at some point to be a general manager for RAW. When I saw all that talk, and someone put me as the GM for RAW, I was like, I like that, I actually like that.”
