Triple H told Dragon Lee he needs him around “long term” after Lee’s table bump on Raw in Mexico City.
The moment was included in a behind-the-scenes video WWE released from its recent shows in Mexico City. Lee wrestled Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable on Raw, and the match included Lee hitting a cannonball through a table.
Backstage, Triple H complimented Lee on the performance and asked him to save the move for special occasions.
“Dude, f—ing badass. Hey, do me a favor though? That table bump? Keep that s— special… that’s a now and then one. I need you here long term, not short term.”
The video also shows Triple H’s reactions to other moments from the Mexico City shows, including Sami Zayn winning the WWE Championship from CM Punk and Roman Reigns’ moment with Penta.
