JBL says WWE is not bringing announcers to Chicago for Worlds Collide on September 26.
Speaking on Something to Wrestle, JBL, who calls AAA events, said WWE originally asked him to be there for the show. He said “things changed so much” since then, and he now expects to record voiceover commentary for the event after it happens.
JBL added that he does not know what WWE’s broadcast plan is for Worlds Collide.
The event takes place in Chicago on the same night as AEW All Out, which is also being held in the Chicago area. CM Punk is booked on the Worlds Collide card.
