Kevin Nash says he turned down WWE’s idea to create a hologram of Scott Hall for a Hall of Fame ceremony.
On Kliq This, Nash was asked whether he was the one who said no to the idea. He confirmed that he did, and said Hall would have done the same for him.
“Well, of course, because it was Scott. I don’t think I spent 30 years of my life with Scott, and Scott wouldn’t let them do that to me. I know Scott wouldn’t let them do that to me. Scott would have been like, ‘No, Kev wouldn’t want this.'”
Nash said the timing also played a part, since Hall had not been gone long. Hall died in March 2022.
“Because they don’t get a say. It’s going to be somebody that’s profiting from that image and I think that’s f—ed up.”
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE did approach Nash and others close to Hall for their approval before spending money on the hologram.
