Cody Rhodes has re-signed with WWE.
Rhodes revealed the news on the Flagrant podcast while promoting the Street Fighter movie, which opens October 16.
“Forgive me if this is breaking news and please edit it if I’m not allowed to share, I just re-signed with WWE. So, I’ll end my wrestling career with WWE,” Rhodes said.
He said the new deal allows him to take on outside projects.
“But also, my wrestling career with WWE might continue because we are now… we’re now able to go do this stuff. So say I do have another project or two other projects, whatever it may be, I’m able to take a step away and I’m able to collaborate with WWE and I’m able to come back home.”
Rhodes did not share the length or terms of the contract.
