Will Ospreay retained the AEW World Championship in the first Clockwork Carnage match to close AEW WrestleDream 2026 on October 17 in Orlando, Florida. Full results are below.
Ospreay drew the first entry spot, followed by Konosuke Takeshita, Mike Bailey, Ricochet, Darby Allin, Kazuchika Okada, Adam Copeland and Samoa Joe. Takeshita eliminated Bailey with Raging Fire before Okada eliminated Takeshita with a Rainmaker.
Copeland did not score in the 15-minute scoring period until late, when he speared Joe and then Ricochet for two falls. That left Ospreay, Copeland, Allin and Joe tied at two each. Ospreay pinned Copeland with the Hidden Blade as time expired to finish with three.
Copeland shook Ospreay’s hand after the match before leaving. AEW posted the finish on X.
