Springfield Lucky Horseshoes Announce 2025 Season Schedule
Opening Night Set for May 27th Against Normal CornBelters
Springfield, IL – The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes are excited to announce their 2025 schedule, which kicks off on Tuesday, May 27th, when the Horseshoes host the Normal CornBelters at Robin Roberts Stadium. This marks the start of another thrilling summer of baseball in Springfield, as the Horseshoes look to build on their success and bring fans an action-packed season.
The 2025 season will feature a series of exciting matchups, including three new teams visiting Robin Robert Stadium: the Dubois County Bombers, Johnstown Mill Rats, and Quincy Baseball Club. Fans will have the opportunity to experience fresh competition and the excitement of new rivalries.
Monday, July 7th, the stadium will welcome the 2025 Prospect League Alumni Game, where past players return to the diamond for a thrilling exhibition of talent. The 2025 Prospect League Homerun Derby will take place following the conclusion of the Alumni Game.
The next day, Tuesday, July 8th, the 2025 Prospect League All-Star Game will take center stage, showcasing the best players in the league as they compete in a high-energy, star-studded event.
