MJF has refrained from discussing his injury status for months following his appearance at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view event in December.
Going into the show, he was dealing with a torn labrum and a hip injury.
According to Wrestle Purists, MJF has recently had surgery on his left shoulder. His return date remains unknown.
Sources close to the situation have confirmed to WrestlePurists that MJF has undergone surgery on his left shoulder.
MJF was originally aiming for a March return and met with Tony Khan in Boston to discuss creative plans.
