During a new interview on Conversations with The Wrestling Classic, Sabu noted he would be open to facing “The Deathmatch King” for his final bout.
Sabu thinks RVD would be too predictable for his last opponent, but Matt Cardona in an Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch is something he’s interested in (per Fightful).
“If all else fails, [I’ll face] Van Dam, but to me, that’s too predictable. It’s too easy. Of course, we’re going to have a great match. I want something else. Maybe Matt Cardona in an explosion match when the time is right. Maybe not January, but down the line more.”
