During the CMLL x NJPW FantasticaMania Mexico event on Friday night, Stephanie Vaquer emerged victorious against La Catalina, successfully defending her NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship.
Post-match, AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone confronted Vaquer, who is set to be her opponent at the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event next Sunday.
They exchanged words before Mone slapped Vaquer, leading to a brawl between the two competitors. Mone stood tall with both titles. Mone had previously defeated Vaquer at NJPW Resurgence 2023.
