Tony Khan Addresses Potential Australia Stadium

AEW President Tony Khan answered various questions during Thursday’s All In media call. During the call, Khan discussed the idea of another stadium.

The Sporting News has reported that the promotion is also looking to host a stadium event in Australia in 2025. Preparations are underway, as the promotion has been scouting locations on the country’s east coast.

Potential venues under consideration include Allianz Stadium in Sydney, Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, and Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. TEG, an entertainment company, will provide support for the AEW event. The promotion’s content is currently broadcast on ESPN in both Australia and New Zealand.

“We can confirm that we’re currently looking at various locations in Australia to run an event sometime next year in 2025 potentially. We’ll have more information about this in the near future. 2025 is going to be a milestone year,” he said on the most recent media call prior to AEW All In 2024.
