Keith Lee had initially been set to face Swerve Strickland at AEW Worlds End in December 2023, but the match was canceled due to Lee not being medically cleared.
Lee later revealed he needed to undergo two surgeries. Fightful Select reported that Lee has still not been medically cleared and there is no return timetable for him.

Despite being absent from AEW television for over a year, PWInsider reports he was backstage at last week’s Dynamite in Athena, GA.
